To add a header to the first page: Begin on the first page, which will be the title page. Click the Insert tab. In the Header and Footer section, click on 'Header,' and choose the first option. Open Microsoft Word and find the 'Page Layout' tab in the ribbon. The ribbon is at the top of the open document. Click on the 'Page Layout' option, then click on the 'Margins' option.
