Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Skype for Business, and OneNote will install and run on macOS 10.14 Mojave. Microsoft fully supports Office 2016, Office 2019 and Office 365 for Mac on 10.14 Mojave when you have the following Office updates installed:
Cannot update Microsoft Office Word 2011 to 14.2.3 on OSX. I just purchased Microsoft Office 2011 for MAC and installed it on my rMBP OSX 10.8.2 running Mountain Lion. The installed version from purchase is 14.2.0. I tried installing 14.2.3 but it failed due to a specific file that was not found. Jul 10, 2012 The Office 2011 14.2.3 Update is also available from Microsoft AutoUpdate. AutoUpdate is a program that automatically keeps Microsoft software up-to-date. To use AutoUpdate, start a Microsoft. Microsoft have known that 64 bit architecture is coming in - yet have decided that office 2011 is a legacy item and CHOSE not to update it to 64bit. So standalone systems are no longer supported. Maybe my licence does not expire ( a sneky and obfuscating comment), though thanks to your decisions it is now as good as mammary glands are to a bull. This doesn't affect one-time purchases of Office for Mac 2011 such as, Office Home and Student, Office Home and Business, or Office Professional. Note: If you have Office 365 or a one-time purchase of Office 2016 for Mac, see Download and install or reinstall Office 365 or Office 2016 on your PC or Mac for install instructions. Before you install the Office 2011 14.3.2 update, make sure that you have Office 2011 14.1.0 or a later version installed on your computer. Also make sure that the computer is running Mac OS X v10.5.8 or a later version of the Mac OS X operating system. To verify that the computer meets this prerequisite, click About This Mac on the Apple menu. Open the Microsoft Office 2011 folder, and then start any Office application. (For example, start Microsoft Word). On the application menu, click About. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Lync for Office for Mac 2011 have not been tested on macOS 10.14 Mojave, and no support for this configuration will be provided. This means there will be no new security updates, non-security updates, free or paid assisted support options, or technical content updates.
